Today at the 20th annual WIMBIZ conference we had the honor of launching the “The WIMBIZ Private Sector Gender Equity and Equality Scorecard” (version 1).

This is such a big moment for me & Kobikam Africa because it has been months of working with various stakeholders to get here. From the roadshows to drive private sector buy-in, to the creation of the KPIs and the measurement and evaluation framework, to the reviews with our consulting partners hashtag#PWC. This is one project that I am most passionate about and honored to have actively developed. I am honored to have worked on this under the private sector advocacy committee chaired by the most amazing leader Rolake Akinkugbe-Filani

The gender equality and equity scorecard is a proprietary tool developed to standardize the assessment of gender mainstreaming practices and performance within private sector organizations. The aim is to ensure accountability and improve gender equality and equity in the workplace across Africa.

Also looking forward to the implementation phase of the scorecard which will drive gender awareness and accountability across the private sector.
